Christmas Giveaway
I love to give stuff away and it’s been a long time since I hosted a giveaway here at my poor neglected blog. So, it’s time! I’m going to give away two very different items. The first thing is one of my recycled sterling silver personalized rings, stamped with your choice of 5 letters or fewer, in whatever size you like.
Second, is one of my silver dogtag unisex bracelets:
I’ll choose two winners: one person who specified the ring, and one who specified the bracelet. Here’s how you play:
For one entry, leave me a comment and let me know which item you’d like to choose, what you’d like inscribed, and why. For extra entries: tweet with a link back, make a blog mention with a link back, become a Facebook fan (or if you’re already a fan let me know), and/or recruit a fan (get someone to sign up as a fan then comment and let me know who). Each one of these actions get you another entry, but you have to make a separate comment for each action.
The giveaway begins now, and ends Thanksgiving night. I’ll be choosing one winner via random drawing, and the other winner according how much I liked your inscription idea, so give me your best!

i’d choose the dogtag bracelet–it can hold more text
and i’d pick something like “this too shall pass” (it’s been a rough few years) or a quote like
“let the soft animal of your body/ love what it loves.” i’m not sure yet…

I consider that sort of my motto or mantra in life because I think it’s too easy to overlook the little things every single day that make life worth the living. It is so easy to get caught up in tomorrow and never even ‘live’ in today!

I would love the ring, it’s just small and sweet. I would inscribe it with B.O.W.A. It’s an acronym for the Dave Matthews Band song “Best of What’s Around”. It’s special to myself and a group of friends that we only see each other one or two times a year to go camping and go to concerts. My favorite line from the song, “Turns out not where but who you’re with that really matters.” Thanks for the giveaway!

I’d love to get the ring with the inscription “wiara” which means believe, or faith in Polish. I’d choose this because I’d like to give the ring to a friend who has a tattoo that says “Wiara” and “Liebe” to celebrate her German and Polish heritage. I helped her pick out the words for the tattoo and I think this would be such a cool gift for her. “Wiara” means “Believe” or “faith” in polish, and “Liebe” is “love” in German. Our thinking was that you must have faith (in yourself) before you can love. I think it would remind her that I believe in her

The rings and dog tagz are beautifully made; they have a home essence to them, just thought i mention that.
i would pick the ring, and have riot! inscribed. Why? because its the name of my favourite bands second album, and one of its meanings is a sudden burst of emotions which can describe your life at any one point.

I think they are very beatiful and soo much better than diamond rings because they have the nice texture and its personal. I’d have the the bracelet, with ‘babys black balloon makes her fly’ (if that fits) because the song black balloon means alot to me and thats the very first line of the song.

In my case it would be a ring (cause that’s all I wear, really xD) and I would inscribe: “dance”. I reckon that pretty much summons up my whole life (aparte from the fact that I used to be a ballet dancer, I consider that the only way I get through life is “dancing” it)

I am so looking forward to receiving the ring I ordered today, and who knows, I may even get it before Christmas even though it has to travel far to reach me!
